I can’t believe the third month of 2025 is already almost over! Time has FLOWN by! There have been so many announcements and news about 2025 and I have thorough details below. But to recap, here is the short and sweet version of my favorite highlights:
Epic Universe opens May 22, 2025! This brand new theme park will be home to five new universes: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: The Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Disneyland will be celebrating it’s 70th anniversary starting May 16, 2025 through summer of 2026! This celebration will have lots of new and returning entertainment and dining! This is the perfect time for your first visit! They are running an amazing ticket promo now!

Spring has sprung at Walt Disney World! Visit now - June 2, 2025 to visit during EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival! Behold gorgeous gardens, fresh foods, living sculptures of your favorite characters, and catch live music during the Garden Rocks Concert Series! Check out all the topiaries I saw at Flower & Garden Festival 2024 here!
A new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, is set to debut Summer 2025 and will feature bright parade floats featuring favorite characters and stories like Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, Coco, and more! I personally cannot WAIT for this new entertainment option!

Epic Universe opens May 22, 2025! Less than 2 months away! I have been waiting for this day for so long. I personally and most excited for Dark Universe and it family-friendly horror vibes, but its followed closely by meeting Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. Super Nintendo World will feature Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country!
Mardi Gras ends March 30, 2025 - but will return in 2026! Mardi Gras is my favorite time (besides the holidays) to visit Universal Orlando Resort! Let me know if you want to be on my Mardi Gras 2026 list for all the details when they are announced!
Universal Orlando now offers a cruise add-on package! Taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral, Florida? Why not add a few days at Universal? This exclusive vacation package can only be booked by your travel agent (me)! This package will include tickets and transportation between Port Canaveral and your Universal Resort. This will expand your adventure beyond the sea!
Butterbeer season is March 1 - May 31! Visit Universal Orlando during Butterbeer season for exclusive treats and merchandise inspired by the iconic drink!

Disneyland celebrates its 70th with a brand new celebration starting May 16, 2025! Join the celebration and visit Mickey and friends in their new celebratory outfits, a new cavalacade, new additions to “it’s a small world,” and returning entertainment like the Paint the Night Parade and Wondrous Journeys Nighttime Show. World of Color Happiness will debut is Disney’s California Adventure, and that’s not all! There will be so many ways to celebrate - you don’t want to miss it!
