Looking for my complete Walt Disney World packing list? You can find that here!
When my husband and I visit the Disney theme parks, we are usually there all day, from rope drop to park close with no hotel breaks. These days are so much fun, but can also be very long and tiring days. We try to bring everything we may need in a park back with us to the theme parks!
Most of the time, especially during the winter, we use a full-size back pack. Some times in the summer months, I can get away with fitting everything in a loungefly. We have used a Disney-themed bag for the longest time, but have just started using the Osprey Daylite Plus Commuter bag more since it is more comfortable to carry and water-resistant.
Depending on the season, our park bag packing list can look a little different. But overall, the main items stay the same. So, to help you plan your own park bag, here is everything that we pack in our park bag for a full day at a Disney theme park:
Rain jackets / Ponchos - You do not want to forget these, especially if there is ANY chance of rain in the forecast. Expect it to rain at Walt Disney World.
Water Bottle - STAY HYDRATED!!! You can get free ice water anywhere in the parks that serves fountain beverages
Chapstick
Carabiner clip - I’ve started using the S-Biner brand. I hook one of these on to my bag to possible hold my hat or sunglasses, or hand sanitzer so I don’t have to dig in my bag for those!
Wallet - don’t forget your ID, money, and Disney gift cards!
Magic Bands - if you plan on using Magic Bands, make sure you are wearing them before you leave the resort!
Ibuprofen - We do not go to Disney without Ibuprofen on hand.
Sunglasses - We always have sunglasses on hand. I love the goodr brand!
Fuel Rods - I take fuel rods to Disney, since you can swap them for fully charged ones around the parks for free! I always pack 2 in my bag. Don’t forget the cord to your phone!
Sun screen - don’t forget this or you’ll be paying for overpriced sunscreen in the parks!
Hand Sanitizer - not a MUST, but a must for me!
Bandaids - I will always have Nexcare bandages in my bag. These are waterproof and flexible!
Floss - I bring Plackers Floss Picks in the travel case! With all of the food in the parks, I often need this!
Deodorant
Disney Pins - We love to pin trade in the parks
Autograph book & Pen - If I think we will be meeting characters, I’ll bring this too!
In the summer months:
Handheld fans - I use these fans. In the peak of summer, I’ll even have two in my bag!
When it’s extra hot, we may even pack an extra shirt in case we feel like we want to change
In the winter months:
Sweatshirt - especially if we are going to be out late! It can get cooler!
If I start by wearing shorts, I may pack a pair of pants in case it gets cool
And that’s it! Keep in mind, we are two adults and don’t have kids. So you will want to keep in mind any kid-specific items like a stroller rain cover, snacks, entertainment, diapers, wipes, etc.
Anything I should add to this list? Leave a comment if you think I forgot something!
